  • THE CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS by Camille Saint-Saens Each of these short pieces is a sound picture describing an animal. Listen to how the composer uses high and low pitches to create the image of the animal. He also picks the instruments which help illustrate the animal.

  • HALF TERM FUN ! – Experiment and compose with musical sounds. Have fun with a variety of activities in which you can experiment with different ways of making sounds and music. You can compose songs and melodies, rhythmic patterns with percussion sounds, and explore electronic sounds. You can even create your own piece of sound art in the style of Kandinsky.
