Our Training School was successfully inspected by Ofsted in May and October 2018.
The inspection drew on evidence from within our ITE partnership to make judgements against all parts of the evaluation schedule. Inspectors focused on the
overall effectiveness of the ITE partnership in securing high-quality outcomes for
trainees. The inspectors judged the Training provision to be OUTSTANDING in ALL areas.

We have been successfully involved in initial teacher training and education for over 11 years, providing bespoke school based teacher training and employment for our local community as Henry Maynard Training E17 offering School Direct (salaried) and SCITT routes, both with PGCE.

As a school we have a wealth of experience in mentoring and coaching trainees and in delivering initial teacher training and education across the primary range.
Henry Maynard Training E17 leads a strong and growing partnership of local schools in which trainees complete training. Trainees work in a range of schools and settings including Henry Maynard Primary School and Nursery, Greenleaf Primary, The Winns Primary, Church Hill Nursery, Mission Grove, Chingford C of E School and Handsworth Primary in Waltham Forest. Schools further afield include St Mary's C of E Primary, Harrington Hill Primary and London Fields Primary in Hackney and Winton Primary in Islington.
In March 2014 our Training School and School Direct provision in our previous partnership was inspected by Ofsted for delivery of Initial Teacher Education (ITE).
